Moving forward. Prepared.

Our Mission and Vision

To secure the future of high flood-risk UK coastal residents by facilitating proactive relocation to safer, higher ground, we want to help people become relocators, relocator hosts, relocator funders, or all three. Our aim is to help as many people as possible to move in advance of coastal inundations to safer locations.

Become a

Relocation Funder

Become a Relocation Funder and help UK coastal residents in high flood risk zones move to safer, higher ground by advertising on this site, purchasing from our gift shop or donating to help us raise funds to help people adapt to non linear rising sea levels which will affect us all as populations move inland over time due to changing coastlines, especially during king tides that coincide with storm surges.

Become a

Relocator Host

You own property on higher ground and want to help those having to move due to coastal inundations. You are a critical part of this. You can immediately begin to prepare just by opening an account on Spareroom.co.uk and/or Airbnb. On your listing/s, make it clear you have space available for people relocating due to coastal inundations. You could have a spare room, annexe, modular extension, tiny home, or even a campervan. or you could buy a modular home or extension to site in your garden with the necessary permissions.

Become a

Relocator

Check your flood risk on the government flood warning website to find out whether you live in a high flood risk zone and may want to become a Relocator in the future.

Prepare a grab bag of essentials you'd need for a rapid departure. Important documents, medications, a change of clothes, other critical items. Having this ready will give you peace of mind.

Stay informed by keeping a close eye on the gov.uk flood warning website for real-time area alerts. especially during March, September and December 2026 when high king tides are forecast.

A Call to Action for Everyone

Regardless of whether you identify as a future relocator, relocator host, or future funder, two of them or all three, you can play a part in creating a more equitable system.

Advocate for change: Email or write to your local and national government representatives, urging the creation of relocation facilitating grants. This is about building a framework to protect everyone.

Every person relocating has unique needs. Your purchase from our Green Relocation Hub Shop directly funds our work supporting relocations.
